The LingoTouch Method
Stop memorizing. Start speaking.
Scene → Word → Listen → Speak → Feedback. The five-step loop behind every LingoTouch lesson.
We believe
Language is what happens between people, in places, in real time. Apps that train you on isolated cards train you to win at flashcards — not at conversation. Our bet: build from the situation outward, and the words stick because they have a home.
The learning loop
- Scene. An illustrated Chinese place — a hot pot restaurant, a subway ticket gate, a hospital reception. You explore it like a children's book.
- Word. Tap an object. The Chinese word appears with pinyin, English, and audio recorded by a native speaker.
- Listen. A short listening drill: hear the word in a sentence, identify which item the speaker means.
- Speak. Repeat the word aloud. Our AI coach grades each tone individually — not just pass/fail.
- Feedback. Specific, actionable: "Tone 3 should dip lower." "Initial 'q' wasn't aspirated enough." Try again until you nail it.
Why this works for adults
Adult learners come with a fully developed first language. They can analyze, abstract, compare. They don't need to learn the way a child does — they need compressed immersion: enough context to build a mental model, enough feedback to course-correct fast. That's what the loop above gives you.
Who it's for
This methodology works best for adult beginners and travelers who want survival fluency in 6–12 weeks.
